It assesses the progress made by each country on these three targets and provides a snapshot of how far we are from achieving SDG7. The 2018 release is the fourth edition of this report, which is formerly known as the Global Tracking Framework (GTF).<\/p><p>Sustainable Energy for All seeks to improve the lives of billions of people across the world and to ensure a more sustainable future by working to achieve its three objectives: universal access to energy; greater energy efficiency; and increased use of renewables.<\/p><p>A major first step was the development of a Global Tracking Framework that established baseline energy data.
