But with electric vehicles and other end uses emerging,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rmi.org\/insight\/scaling-us-climate-ambitions\/\">more demand is coming<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>American drivers are rapidly choosing to go electric. Despite some misleading headlines, automakers have sold&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/heatmap.news\/electric-vehicles\/are-ev-sales-really-slowing-data\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more EVs<\/a>&nbsp;every quarter since 2021, and that growth is likely to continue. Individual buyers and corporate and government fleets purchases \u2014 enabled by supportive policy, regulation, and incentives \u2014 have driven new sales of EVs to a tipping point. By 2030, we expect to see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theclimategroup.org\/ev100-members\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fully electrified fleets<\/a>&nbsp;and, by 2035, EV\u2019s comprising 100 percent of vehicles sales in some&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ww2.arb.ca.gov\/our-work\/programs\/advanced-clean-cars-program\/advanced-clean-cars-ii\" target=\"_blank\"
