Over the course of 2019, energy storage experienced balanced growth. Cumulatively, 24 GW of total energy storage is now installed, including pumped hydropower, on the U.S. electric grid.
Of that total, 1.6 GW is non-hydropower and more than 1.3 GW are batteries installed on the U.S. electric grid, with more than 80 GW in the front of the meter (FTM) pipeline. Download the full report to learn more.
