Home Energy Upgrade Incentives: Programs in the Inflation Reduction Act and Other Recent Federal Laws

The various federal programs can be confusing, with each having unique eligibility requirements and different incentive amounts. In addition, state and local governments, companies, and advocates will need to promote these programs locally. Local program administrators can perform a great service by helping their customers understand these programs and braid them together for maximum impact. In many cases existing programs may need to be modified to maintain their usefulness, accelerate market transformation under the federal programs, and address other needs not covered by those programs.

Joint Declaration On The Upcoming EU Action Plan On Digitalisation Of The Energy Sector

A la luz del próximo Plan de Acción sobre la Digitalización del Sector Energético, la industria de la energía, representada por E.DSO, EHPA, ESMIG, Eurelectric, smartEn, SolarPower Europe y Wind Europe, ha respaldado múltiples recomendaciones para permitir el papel de las tecnologías digitales en la transición verde y aumentar la soberanía digital de Europa.
The joint declaration calls for a clear alignment of the Action Plan with Digital Strategy and the Fit for 55 Package, as a sound way for the digitalisation of energy to happen. It further emphasises that the Action Plan should be the new sectorial EU digital and technological framework enabling trustful and digitally enabled interactions.

National Cyber Power Index 2022

En su nota a los lectores del Índice Nacional de Poder Cibernético 2022, Eric Rosenbach, codirector del Centro Belfer y antiguo jefe de Estado Mayor y Subsecretario del Departamento de Defensa de Estados Unidos, escribe: «Dado que los desafíos en el ámbito cibernético no hacen más que aumentar, es fundamental que también se disponga de herramientas analíticas que presenten toda la gama de poder cibernético y que informen los debates públicos críticos de hoy. El marco que proporciona el ICPN permite a los responsables políticos considerar una gama más completa de desafíos y amenazas de otros actores estatales. La incorporación de modelos cualitativos y cuantitativos, con más de 1.000 fuentes de datos existentes y con 29 indicadores para medir la capacidad de un Estado, es más completa que cualquier otra medida actual del ciberpoder».
